Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for an Enterprise Architect based in the Zürich office. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Enterprise Architect / CTO to drive large‑scale, complex digital transformation initiatives. This key role requires deep technical expertise and strategic leadership to design, architect, and govern robust solutions within the Microsoft Azure, Dataverse and Power Platform ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and cutting‑edge technical implementation, while mentoring cross‑functional teams to deliver enterprise‑grade solutions. Day‑to‑day tasks include analyzing business requirements, defining system requirements, collaborating with stakeholders, creating technology roadmaps, ensuring alignment across architecture domains, and guiding teams through solution delivery. Additionally, the role involves identifying opportunities for process improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Solution Architecture: Lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end, scalable and secure technical architectures using the full Microsoft stack (Azure services, Dataverse, Power Platform).
• Technical Leadership & Governance: Provide technical governance and oversight for onshore and offshore development teams. Enforce best practices for development, conduct rigorous code reviews and ensure adherence to mature Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD).
• Complex Development & Integration: Oversee the development of complex server‑side and client‑side customizations and architect robust integrations with external systems/IOT with Azure AI Services.
• Advisory & Pre‑Sales Support: Act as the primary technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) during pre‑sales cycles and client workshops, conducting technical demos, defining scope, and contributing to proposal development.
• Risk & Performance Management: Own technical project risks and issues, manage technical debt, and conduct high‑level performance tuning and optimization for large‑scale enterprise applications using Azure Monitor services.
• Mentorship & Innovation: Mentor senior and junior technical resources, defining training needs and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement across the practice.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of 15+ years of proven, hands‑on experience in Azure cloud, Microsoft Dataverse implementation, development, and support.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in Microsoft low‑code models. Experience with Dataverse schema design, security models, and cloud security principles (Azure AD B2C Authentication).
• Platform Mastery: In‑depth knowledge across the entire Microsoft Power Platform and extensive experience with relevant Azure AI Services.
• Certifications: Azure, Dynamics 365 + Power Platform certifications are highly desirable.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related computational discipline.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business outcomes for C‑suite stakeholders.
• Additional Knowledge: Knowledge of FHIR / healthcare systems is an advantage.
