About the role

Role Summary

The Enterprise Data Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and evolving the enterprise‑wide data architecture strategy across customer, consumer, manufacturing, and supply chain domains. This role ensures strong alignment between business strategy, data platforms, analytics, and emerging AI capabilities, while enabling scalability, security, resilience, and standardization across the enterprise.

The architect will serve as a strategic partner to business and technology leaders, driving modern data architecture into adoption and enterprise data governance.

Your Role:

  • Define and maintain enterprise data architecture principles, standards, and target‑state roadmaps
  • Design end‑to‑end data architectures, including data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and AI enablement
  • Partner with business, analytics, and IT stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into scalable data solutions
  • Provide architectural governance across multiple programs and enterprise initiatives
  • Establish standards for data integration, Master Data Management (MDM), metadata management, and data quality
  • Evaluate, select, and standardize cloud‑based data, analytics, and AI platforms
  • Ensure compliance with security, privacy, regulatory, and resiliency requirements
  • Identify, design, and implement automation opportunities across data platforms
  • Introduce and implementing emerging technologies and innovative architecture concepts

Required Qualifications

  • 12–16+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture and large‑scale data platforms
  • Deep domain experience in customer, manufacturing, or supply chain data landscapes
  • Proven leadership in architecture governance, stakeholder influence, and enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence executive and senior leadership

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $188,000 to $202,000.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
