Enterprise IT Technology Architect (w/m/d)

About Us

At Zürcher Kantonalbank we are looking for a Architect engineer!

Our central IT Architecture team, currently with almost 20 employees, designs the evolution of technologies, platforms, and cloud services used within Zürcher Kantonalbank in close collaboration with our stakeholders. This lays the foundation for the bank's technical innovation and resilience, among other things. You will take on a consulting and steering role in shaping our IT landscape within the central Enterprise IT Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Advise stakeholders on the use of technologies and technical architecture (e.g., regarding the recoverability of critical bank functions)
• Develop target states and technology radars for the strategic further development of the IT landscape
• Prepare decision proposals for the IT Architecture Board (e.g., regarding technology standards)
• Develop proposals for the CIO Meeting to streamline the technology portfolio in use
• Manage the lifecycle of technologies and platforms
• Support stakeholders in the transition from non-standard to standard technologies, etc.
• Maintain and further develop data-driven architecture approaches

Qualifications

• Completed education or further training in (business) informatics or comparable professional experience
• Several years of experience as an Enterprise IT Architect in complex IT landscapes in the financial services sector
• Experience with modern architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), Capability Based Modelling, and working in agile environments (e.g., with SCRUM, SAFe) is an advantage
• Broad know-how about on-premises and cloud infrastructure technologies, IT solutions & reference architectures
• Knowledge of key technologies in these areas (e.g., Azure Services, hyper-converged Server Infrastructure, Kubernetes, Application Server, DB technologies, etc.)
• You impress with your intrinsic enthusiasm for grasping and solving tasks and IT solutions as a whole
• Very good German language skills
