About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Clinical Data Science to lead the division in driving innovation within pharmaceutical research. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping global strategies that enhance precision medicine and biomarker analysis initiatives, as well as integrating data-driven insights into clinical trial designs. This role involves representing the organization in regulatory discussions, mentoring a high-performing team of data scientists, and overseeing large-scale data science projects to ensure they align with organizational goals and deliver impactful results. The Executive Director will also be tasked with evaluating and implementing advanced analytical approaches, particularly in the areas of AI/ML techniques for disease modeling and genomic analysis.

Qualifications

• D. in biostatistics, bioinformatics, or a related computational science, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in clinical development and data science.
• Expertise in AI/ML modeling, precision medicine applications, and a strong background in statistical methods as applied in clinical trials are essential.
• The role requires a proven ability to influence regulatory authorities, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in budget management.
• While not mandatory, experience in neurology research, particularly with Alzheimer's disease biomarkers, is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, capable of effectively communicating complex data science concepts to a diverse range of stakeholders, and will be committed to ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements in clinical data science programming.
