Azure Infrastructure Engineer

About This Role

Drive Azure infrastructure solutions as a skilled engineer with AVD expertise. Manage cloud environments and design high-performance VDI setups in this full-time onsite role.

This Edmonton-based position demands proficiency in Azure technologies and hands-on experience in hybrid cloud environments. You will design, implement, and manage secure infrastructure solutions, including Remote Desktop Services. Your ability to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to ensuring optimal performance and compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and VDI solutions
• Oversee hybrid cloud integrations and on-premise systems
• Utilize Azure monitoring tools for system performance
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and optimization tasks
• Ensure documentation of architecture and processes

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure
• Knowledge of Active Directory, VPN, and Load Balancers
• Proficient in scripting for automation
• Familiarity with governance and compliance standards
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
