Join a remote role as an experienced Engineer in Water Resource Management. Leverage your strategic oversight to optimize energy production and ensure regulatory compliance across environmental programs.
In this essential position, you'll report to the Director of Asset Management and integrate compliance with water resource management and asset optimization. Your expertise will support production forecasting, generation planning, and operational decision-making within the Canadian portfolio. Collaborating across departments, you will act as a liaison for public inquiries on environmental matters.
Maximize generation value while fostering environmental stewardship and regulatory adherence as a key player in sustainable energy practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on water allocation and reservoir operations
- Review environmental data and offer actionable recommendations
- Develop strategies to optimize energy production
- Prepare reports for regulatory bodies and stakeholders
- Monitor environmental regulations and assess operational impacts
Requirements:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience in compliance oversight
- Technical knowledge of hydroelectric generation preferred
- Strong analytical and communication skills
