Financial Accountant (CA(SA)) – Early Career Opportunity

Step into a dynamic finance role within a fast-paced production-driven environment supplying essential materials to large-scale infrastructure and development projects. Duties & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a newly qualified CA(SA) (or up to 1–2 years post-articles) who is ready to get hands-on across reporting, compliance, and operational finance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Compile monthly and annual financial reports in line with IFRS

• Manage general ledger, journals, and reconciliations

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

• Drive audit readiness and liaise with external auditors

• Strengthen internal controls and identify process improvements

Specialised focus areas:

• Mineral royalty tax compliance and calculations

• Carbon tax reporting and reconciliation

• Preparation and submission of related statutory returns

• Ensuring alignment between operational data and financial reporting

What we need from you:

• CA(SA) – non-negotiable

• Newly qualified or up to 2 years’ post-articles experience

• Solid understanding of South African tax legislation (incl. carbon & royalty taxes)

• Strong IFRS knowledge

• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans

• Advanced Excel and strong analytical mindset
