Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in Palo Alto technologies to design, implement, and manage secure network environments.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enabling secure OT (Operational Technology) application data flows while ensuring compliance with network segmentation and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Palo Alto security policies (App‑ID, Service/Port, User‑ID where applicable) to enable approved OT application data flows, aligned with OT zoning, segmentation, and move‑group definitions
• Translate OT application connectivity requirements into Palo Alto constructs, including security rules, address groups, application groups, and zone mappings, in coordination with the OT Application Architect and OT Systems Engineer
• Responsible for designing, building, and configuring Palo Alto firewalls to ensure secure network segmentation.
• Perform logical configuration, including inter-VLAN routing between legacy and new VLANs, to maintain seamless connectivity and compliance with security standards.
• Ensure robust implementation aligned with organizational architecture and operational requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.
• In-depth knowledge of network security concepts, including segmentation, zoning, and access control.
• Experience with App-ID, User-ID, NAT, VPNs, and security policy management.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN networking, VLANs, and routing concepts.
• Experience working in OT (Operational Technology) environments is preferred.
