About

ANAVIA specializes in the design, development and manufacturing of vertical takeoff landing (VTOL) systems of up to 500 kilograms. The company offers industry‑leading unmanned helicopter systems for various mission profiles such as surveillance reconnaissance, inspection or mapping cargo.

Responsibilities

  • Data Collection and Management: Oversee the collection, organization and storage of data generated during UAV operations, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse flight data to assess UAV performance, identify trends and uncover insights that inform design improvements and operational strategies.
  • Reporting: Develop and produce comprehensive reports and visualisations that effectively communicate findings to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, including flight control, test bench and design engineers, to provide data‑driven insights that guide product development and enhancements.
  • Tool Development: Create and maintain analytical tools and scripts to automate data processing and analysis tasks, improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Validation and Testing: Support flight testing by analysing data to validate performance metrics and identify potential issues or areas for optimisation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in data analysis techniques and incorporate best practices into workflows.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of significant experience with analysis of large datasets, preferably in aviation or space industry; familiarity with software tools for data processing and fundamentals of flight dynamics.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of data science tools (Python, Jupyter, etc.), experience with embedded systems and their communication (CAN, UART, etc.) and fundamental understanding of flight dynamics.
  • Communication: Very good technical communication skills.
