Freelance Devops Engineer

Role Description:

This is a freelance, remote role for a Senior DevOps Engineer. The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure, automating deployment workflows, and ensuring system performance and reliability.

The position involves managing systems, enabling continuous integration, supporting software development processes, and performing system administration tasks.

The role also requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize development pipelines and support business objectives..

Qualifications :

- Must have experience of 8-10 yrs.

- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies and practices.

- Hands-on experience in Software Development and Continuous Integration processes.

- Strong background in System Administration with expertise in Linux environments.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is advantageous.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Linux certifications) are a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure using modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous integration and continuous delivery.

- Automate deployment workflows and reduce manual operational overhead.

- Manage and administer Linux-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.

- Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve development pipelines and delivery efficiency.

- Support software development teams by enabling best DevOps practices and tools.

- Ensure compliance with security, performance, and operational standards.

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
