As an AVP (C12) in the TTS Analytics team at Citi, your role will involve working on a variety of tasks to provide analytical insights to the Product, Pricing, Client Experience, and Sales functions within the global Treasury & Trade Services business. Your contribution to the team will play a significant role in enhancing client experience, driving business growth, and leveraging AI/ML techniques to deliver data‑driven outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to ideation on analytical projects aimed at addressing strategic business priorities.
• Endlessly exploring ambiguity and open‑ended questions that are essential to the team's work.
• Taking ownership of end‑to‑end delivery of AI‑powered products, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Designing and developing API‑first services in Python and Node.js, as well as front‑end interfaces using React/Angular/Vue to operationalize model insights.
• Implementing containerized services with Docker and automating build/test/deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
• Establishing secure‑by‑design practices and enforcing coding standards to ensure data security and access controls.
• Collaborating with various teams to prioritize roadmaps and translate business problems into actionable capabilities.
• Creating technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and participating in design and code reviews.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in full stack development and Data Science (ML and DL) combined.
• Demonstrated track record of shipping AI‑enabled products to production in an agile environment.

Must‑have Skills

• Strong experience in building production web applications and services with Python and Node.js.
• Front‑end development expertise with React/Angular/Vue and strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals.
• Proficiency in API design and development with REST and GraphQL, as well as microservices patterns.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL datastores, containers, CI/CD, configuration management, and automation.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, networking basics, observability, and security practices.

Generative AI & Deep Learning (Complementary and Strongly Preferred)

• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, transformer architectures, RAG, model customization, frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow, and MLOps for GenAI.
• Knowledge of model serving/inference optimization, quality & safety measures, and MLOps practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with enterprise identity and access management, data privacy, responsible AI practices, and compliance controls.
• Familiarity with vector databases and search infrastructure.

Education

• Bachelor/Masters (preferred) in Computer Science Engineering.
