Requirements

• 6-10 years of software development experience, including frontend work with React and/or AngularJS
• Strong backend proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and relational/non-relational databases
• Hands-on expertise in Python development for backend services, scripting, automation, and data processing
• Experience in incident investigation, issue resolution, and performance testing and tuning
• Proven ability to deliver using Agile methodologies and modern DevOps toolchains
• Good understanding of business acumen and how IT systems impact business results
• Core skills in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Python, React, AngularJS, SQL/NoSQL, REST APIs, CI/CD Pipelines, JIRA, Maven, Ansible, Agile/DevOps, and performance tuning
• Knowledge of Equities Trading and experience in Prime Brokerage, Delta One, or Equity Finance is a plus
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder interactions and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Deliver small, non-disruptive, iterative changes to production that yield measurable business results
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements, offering clear insights on technology capabilities, limitations, and trade-offs
• Develop, maintain, and enhance stable, reliable, and scalable production systems
• Engage daily with business and technology teams across global offices
• Create full-stack solutions that encompass both frontend and backend services while adhering to modern engineering practices
• Contribute to backend/API development using Java and Python, including integration of services and automation use cases
