Furniture Product Designer

Key Responsibilities • Design innovative and functional furniture products (chairs, tables, wardrobes, modular units, etc.) • Create 2D drawings and 3D models using software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or SketchUp • Develop detailed production drawings with dimensions, materials, and specifications • Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware based on design and cost • Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design feasibility • Modify and improve designs based on client feedback and market trends • Ensure designs meet quality, safety, and ergonomic standards • Prepare prototypes and samples for testing and approval • Optimize designs for cost efficiency and mass production • Maintain proper documentation and design records
