About the role
Role Overview
Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in GCP and pharma domain. Responsible for building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics, reporting, and ML use cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines using GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows.
- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver reliable data.
- Design data models and ensure data quality and performance.
- Support reporting and ML workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years in data engineering.
- Strong GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer).
- Advanced SQL and Python.
- Experience with pharma datasets (clinical, R&D, commercial).
- Strong ETL/ELT, data modeling, and orchestration knowledge.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Vertex AI or ML pipelines.
- Knowledge of CDISC, SDTM, or similar standards.
- Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
