Generative AI Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Main Responsibilities

• Develop autonomous agents: Design and implement agent-based systems that can perform tasks with minimal supervision, leveraging LLMs, reinforcement learning, and symbolic AI.
• Integrate intelligence into workflows: Embed AI into decision-making processes, optimizing planning, strategy, and execution across business use cases.
• Collaborate with multi-agent systems: Design AI frameworks where multiple agents work together to deliver adaptive, real-time outcomes.
• Build and optimize NLP pipelines: Fine-tune LLMs and integrate NLU capabilities into agents to enable contextual understanding and task completion.
• Leverage data: Work with structured and unstructured data to foster more informed, explainable, and dynamic agent behavior.
• Continuously improve: Optimize models, reduce inference times, and enhance agent reliability and autonomy through data-driven feedback loops.

Technical Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related field (preferably from a Tier 1 university)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering with a proven track record in developing autonomous or agent-based AI systems
• Knowledge in decision intelligence, agent frameworks (e.g., AutoGPT, LangGraph), or strategic AI planning
• Experience with graph reasoning, semantic knowledge graphs, or ontology-based approaches
• Experience in applying AI in real-world domains such as Fintech, Operations, or Enterprise Automation
• Solid proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries like PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (e.g., GPT, Claude, LLaMA), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning
• Familiarity with multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, or planning algorithms
• Strong knowledge of symbolic AI or hybrid AI methods
• Experience with cloud-based AI environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps best practices
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
