Job Summary
The Global Solutions Engineer will play a critical role in partnering with account teams to assess customer data center environments and craft customized infrastructure solutions that meet business needs. This position involves establishing key relationships with OEMs, training sales teams and customers, overseeing the solution practice pipeline, and collaborating with various client stakeholders to uncover new technology opportunities in Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, and Services.
Role Responsibilities
- Work with account teams to evaluate customer data center infrastructures and technologies.
- Design and propose tailored solutions that resonate with customer objectives.
- Forge and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners, staying abreast of product developments.
- Deliver product training and technical education to sales teams and customers.
- Act as a trusted IT advisor, partnering closely with Field Account Executives.
- Oversee the solution practice pipeline, strategizing for top prospects to drive new business acquisition.
- Identify opportunities within Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services domains.
- Develop solutions that align with customer needs and budgets through strategic planning.
- Engage with diverse client contacts, including CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs, for comprehensive account management.
- Educate sales teams on technical selling, product knowledge, and the latest technology trends.

Qualifications
- Intermediate experience in complex Data Center sales opportunities.
- Intermediate skills in designing hybrid cloud, hyper-converged solutions, and SDDC.
- Intermediate knowledge of virtualization technologies, containerization, and automation.
- Intermediate ability to effectively communicate and sell technical products by understanding customer needs.
- Intermediate expertise in key technologies such as Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, and AWS.
- Intermediate experience with Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity solutions.
Additional Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience is mandatory.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role is required.
- Willingness to travel for SHI, Partner, and Customer Events.
- Advanced certification in one or more of the following technologies is preferred: Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, AWS, Nutanix, etc.
The base salary for this position is $96,000 - $182,000. Estimated on-target earnings (OTE), including base salary and bonus, range from $160,000 to $260,000, depending on individual qualifications.
