Hours and Pay

• Pay Rate: $80.00 - $95.00 per hour
• Schedule: Full-time
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite in Wilmington, DE or Hamilton, NJ)
• Contract to Hire

Daily Responsibilities

• Serve as a Google Cloud Platform administrator and cloud architecture leader, guiding technical direction and standards
• Design and enforce cloud governance, security frameworks, and architectural best practices
• Partner with Data & Analytics teams to support BigQuery-based data warehouse environments
• Evaluate deployment strategies and ensure alignment with scalable, secure cloud architecture principles
• Develop and implement repeatable cloud design patterns and operational standards
• Build, deploy, and support Kubernetes-based workloads within Google Cloud Platform
• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability frameworks
• Support production operations across Google Cloud Platform PaaS services, ensuring performance and reliability
• Manage identity and access controls, including federation with Entra ID
• Provide technical leadership, influencing decisions and guiding teams toward best-in-class cloud solutions

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Expertise in BigQuery and cloud data warehouse architecture
• Experience implementing cloud governance and security best practices
• Deep understanding of identity and access management, including federation (Google Cloud Platform and Entra ID)
• Proven experience with Kubernetes deployments in Google Cloud Platform environments
• Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions
• Strong background supporting production-grade cloud platforms and services
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and influence architecture decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in environments with evolving or undefined governance structures
• Strong focus on cloud cost optimization and resource management
• Background supporting data platforms and analytics teams
