Google Cloud Platform Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the Google Cloud Platform platform environment, ensuring high availability and performance
• Design and implement secure network architectures within Google Cloud Platform (VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls)
• Configure and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM roles, policies, and identity management
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth2
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Automate cloud provisioning, deployments, and scaling processes
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliability
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams for seamless deployments
• Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies
