As the Group Lead Data Scientist at Ameriprise India LLP, you will play a crucial role in driving data-informed decision-making across marketing initiatives. Your role will demand a mix of technical expertise, people leadership, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with senior business stakeholders to define analytical priorities, refine data requirements, and ensure actionable insights that deepen understanding of consumer behavior and drive strategic decisions. - Oversee and guide the execution of complex ad-hoc analyses with analytical rigor, clarity of insights, and timely delivery. - Provide strategic direction for the development of predictive models that align with key business objectives and ensure high-quality standards. - Lead the design, development, and governance of reporting solutions such as dashboards, program tracking reports, and model monitoring frameworks. - Review and elevate analytical outputs, translating findings into clear, actionable business recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences. - Collaborate with US and global counterparts to align analytical solutions with business requirements and cross-market expectations. - Manage analytics demand in a complex, matrixed environment to ensure optimal resource allocation and stakeholder management. - Drive documentation and communication practices to foster collaboration and transparency across internal and external teams. - Uphold high-quality standards across all analytics deliverables, promoting best practices in data integrity and methodology. • *Qualifications Required:** - Engineering Degree (BE/ BTECH) or Master Degree in Economics / Mathematics / Operation Research or PG in Data Science/ML from a reputed institute - 8+ years of analytics experience - Strong Python or R programming and SQL data manipulation skills - Strong quantitative, analytical, programming, and problem-solving abilities - Proficiency in Data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau - Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word - Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a team environment on multiple projects and influence outcomes directly and indirectly • *Preferred Skills:** - Hands-on experience with Dataiku/AWS tools (e.g., Sage Maker Studio, Athena) - Experience in predictive modeling/machine learning - Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams • *About the Company:** Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years, helping clients plan and achieve their financial objectives.
