Head of Accounting & Financial Reporting

As a Financial Reporting professional, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be responsible for various financial reporting tasks for both business units and corporate entities. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Managing the preparation of monthly financial statements for business units and consolidated reports. - Preparing detailed internal financial reports, including researching and explaining significant variances in collaboration with different departments and management. - Assisting the Corporate Controller, Assistant Controller, and Accounting Manager with key accounting tasks and deliverables. - Generating ad hoc financial reports, tables, and exhibits upon request. - Prioritizing projects based on business needs and driving new reporting requirements to completion. - Monthly preparation and analysis of financial statements such as income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. - Ensuring quality assurance and timely delivery of recurring reports. - Interpreting and analyzing financial information recorded in general ledger accounts. - Reviewing, investigating, and rectifying errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports. - Playing a crucial role in implementing new software to enhance departmental efficiency and improvement.

Qualifications required for this role include: - Educational Qualifications: CA - Experience: - Over 12 years in the Finance domain - 3-4 years of experience specifically in handling financial reporting functions to support business operations - Experience in Cloud/Enterprise/IT software domain would be considered an added advantage.
