Role Overview – Head of Solutions Engineering

You will be the direct technical liaison to the CTO in strategic technical discussions. You will engage in high‑stakes conversations that determine adoption, deployment, and trust decisions. The role goes far beyond classic pre‑sales: you act as architect, educator, technical guarantor, and decision‑making facilitator.

Responsibilities

• Pre‑sale & client relationship

  • Lead technical discussions with CIOs, CISOs, and infrastructure teams.
  • Address complex topics (architecture, security, performance).
  • Participate in presentations and tender processes.

• Architecture & expertise

  • Explain and adapt on‑premise, air‑gap, and private‑cloud architectures.
  • Challenge client constraints and technical choices.
  • Propose robust, secure, and scalable architectures.

• Cybersecurity

  • Advocate for E2EE, key management, and sovereignty.
  • Meet security requirements (audits, compliance, CISO expectations).
  • Maintain credibility in sensitive environments (defense, public sector, banking).

• Delivery & support

  • Secure strategic deployments.
  • Ensure client‑side technical understanding.
  • Anticipate and mitigate technical risks.

• Structuring

  • Formalize architectures and technical messaging.
  • Standardize responses and best practices.
  • Build a Solutions Engineering team over time.

Profile / Requirements

• 7 to 15+ years of experience.
• Bilingual French / English.
• Background as Solutions Architect, senior pre‑sales, Infrastructure or DevOps professional.

Skills / Competences

• Network: UDP, NAT, firewall.
• Real‑time communications: WebRTC, VoIP, codecs (strong plus).
• Infrastructure: Kubernetes, virtual machines, on‑premise environments.
• Cybersecurity: End‑to‑end encryption (E2EE), PKI, IAM.
• Ability to hold credible technical discussions with a CISO.
