Compensation
- Rate: $85.00 to $95.00/hr. W2
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Ping Identity and Auth0 infrastructure for customer identity services.
- Define security and performance specifications for directory services and IAM integrations.
- Act as a subject matter expert on identity projects.
- Collaborate with IT and Information Security teams to integrate Ping Directory with authentication, SSO, and federation solutions.
- Monitor and enhance directory performance, replication, and availability.
- Create and uphold standards, procedures, and guidelines for directory services and IAM operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and address identity‑related incidents and vulnerabilities.
- Support audits and compliance by providing technical documentation and evidence of controls.
- Stay updated on identity security threats, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in risk assessments and propose enhancements for identity infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and offshore teams.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in information security and IAM, including authorization and federation.
- Proficiency in Auth0.
- Hands‑on knowledge of PingFederate.
- General security engineering background with IAM platforms.
- Experience with the Ping Identity suite (PingDirectory, PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne).
- Integration experience with cloud platforms like AWS in hybrid environments.
- Unix/Linux administration skills.
- Familiarity with scripting in Shell or Python for automation.
- Understanding of distributed computing and directory replication.
- Knowledge of application and data security concepts and common vulnerabilities.
- Experience with migrations between Auth0 and Ping Identity stacks is preferred.
- Regulated industry experience, particularly financial services, is preferred.
- Experience working with offshore teams is an advantage.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience (required); a Master's degree is preferred.
- CompTIA Security+ certification (preferred).
- CISSP certification (preferred).
- Ping Identity certifications (preferred).
