Industrial Designer – Beer & Beverage Industry
Taphandles Cerviteca SL
About the role
About Taphandles
Taphandles is an award-winning design and manufacturing company specializing in product solutions for the beverage industry. From custom tap handles, dispense towers, and point-of-sale items to creative signage and product marketing, we bring brands to life in bold, tangible ways.
We're expanding our global footprint and hiring a talented, self-motivated Industrial Designer to join our Spain office. This is an on-site role that requires fluent English communication and a strong foundation in product design and manufacturing processes.
You'll work alongside our team of designers and collaborate directly with global clients — including some of the world's most recognized beverage brands — to develop creative, high-impact physical products. Our concept-to-production timeline moves quickly: you'll see your work hit bars, restaurants, and retail spaces within months.
What You'll Do
- Translate creative briefs and brand goals into original, dimensional product designs
- Generate quick ideation sketches, followed by polished digital renderings for client presentations
- Create detailed CAD models (surfacing and solid modeling) for manufacturing and prototyping
- Collaborate with account managers, project managers, engineering, and overseas production teams to ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and production requirements
- Iterate quickly based on client or team feedback while maintaining quality and clarity in your work
- Balance aesthetic creativity with real-world production requirements
- Contribute to a supportive team environment while taking full ownership of your own design pipeline
What You Bring
- A strong portfolio showcasing hand-sketching, digital rendering, 3D modeling, and manufactured products (student and personal work welcome for early-career candidates)
- Mastery of the Adobe CC suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
- Proficiency in Rhino (or comparable, such as Alias) for 3D surface modeling, plus KeyShot rendering experience
- An understanding of design for manufacturing (casting, molding, machining, etc.)
- Excellent time management and self-direction — able to juggle multiple projects and hit deadlines with minimal supervision
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) to support day-to-day communication with our US and UK teams and international clients
- Curiosity and humility — we'll teach you our niche, and we're looking for someone who brings initiative and confidence to the table
- Valid EU passport or permanent EU residency permit
Nice to Have
- Diverse 3D toolbox: sculpting in ZBrush, working knowledge of SolidWorks or Creo for solid modeling
- Experience with international clients or suppliers
- Exposure to the beverage or branding/packaging design industry
- Knowledge of POP/POS design or physical marketing materials
Perks & Benefits
- Salario: €28.000–€42.000 brutos anuales, según experiencia
- Bonus anual discrecional
- Contrato indefinido
- 22 días laborables de vacaciones anuales
- Collaborative, award-winning creative team with global reach
- Exposure to some of the most iconic and fastest-growing brands in the beverage industry
- Rapid design-to-market pipeline — see your work come to life in months, not years
- Opportunity to help shape the culture and direction of our Spain office
