This role manages the functional steering of a major IT infrastructure project portfolio at one of the largest industrial sites in the region. You will oversee the decommissioning of legacy infrastructure while supporting extensive site refurbishment and new construction initiatives.
Working within the IT Technical Directorate, you ensure that business needs for networks, servers, technical rooms, fixed telephony, and end-user workstations are captured, translated, and delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality.
Key Responsibilities
- You will gather, analyse, and formalise business requirements related to IT infrastructure.
- You will draft functional requirements documents and specifications.
- You will maintain up-to-date requirements documentation and define a change management process to ensure traceability.
- You will organise and facilitate functional workshops with users and technical teams when needed.
- You will validate technical proposals from delivery teams and verify alignment with business needs.
- You will supervise functional testing and solution certification.
- You will coordinate deployment activities and manage go-live of infrastructure changes.
- You will support change management through clear user communication.
- You will monitor project progress, manage risks, costs, and schedules, and propose mitigation measures.
- You will report regularly to IT management on progress, risks, and actions.
Essential Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure environments such as networks, servers, and telephony.
- You will have the ability to understand complex technical architectures and interact effectively with IT experts.
- You will show proficiency in project management methodologies and ITIL.
- You will demonstrate strong capability in drafting functional documentation and requirements specifications.
- You must communicate comfortably in both English and French, both written and spoken.
- You will bring excellent analytical, synthesis, and communication skills, a strong pedagogical mindset, the ability to mobilise stakeholders, and a high level of organisation, rigour, and autonomy.
- You must manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritise effectively.
- You will have a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in MOA roles or IT infrastructure project management.
