About

This is a Server Engineer II position on a global infrastructure team supporting a hybrid environment across on-prem data centers and Microsoft Azure.

This is a hands-on engineering role focused on:

Day-to-day server operations
Linux system administration (key focus)
Infrastructure reliability and performance
Security remediation and patching
Automation and continuous improvement

This is NOT a cloud-only or architecture-only role—you’ll be actively building, troubleshooting, and improving systems.

Core Responsibilities

Administer and support Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016–2025) environments
Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs, and certificate services
Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V)
Operate and optimize Microsoft Azure (VMs, Backup, Site Recovery, Entra ID, RBAC)
Perform patching, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening
Monitor systems using tools like SCOM and Zabbix
Automate processes using PowerShell and Ansible
Support infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery)
Participate in on-call rotation and scheduled maintenance

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of experience in server / infrastructure engineering
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Linux administration (critical requirement)
- Windows Server + Active Directory
- Microsoft Azure (IaaS)
- PowerShell scripting
- Enterprise virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper-V)
Experience with patching, security, and production environments
Comfortable supporting global systems and on-call rotations
Team-oriented, low-ego, collaborative mindset
