Your Tasks

You will take an active role in the internal IT transformation. In day-to-day operations, you will handle approximately 50% project tasks, 40% user support, and 10% supporting the development of your colleagues. You will lead some projects independently and are also very familiar with the Linux world. We work closely with many colleagues worldwide, which is why our company language is English.

• Operation and continuous expansion of our internal heterogeneous network with separate VLANs across multiple floors, WiFi for over 150 clients, and VPNs
• Operation of our Proxmox cluster and NetApp storage and the VMs provided on them (Linux and Windows)
• Further development and improvement of our backup and monitoring systems
• Administration of user accounts, groups, and permissions in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID
• IT equipment (laptops, phones, etc.) and support for all KINEXON employees
• Administration of the Active Directory and Entra ID tenant

Your Qualifications

• You have a hands-on mentality and a team-oriented way of working
• You have at least 5 years of experience with Linux, feel comfortable on the command line, and ideally have Linux certification (e.g., LPIC, RHCA, or similar)
• You are also proficient in German and English, both spoken and written
• You value security and implement systems accordingly
• Experience in operating business-critical network and server infrastructure is an advantage
• Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of network configuration, routing, firewalls, VPN, and virtualization
• A scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is an advantage
• Azure and AWS knowledge is a nice-to-have
