Job Description
Focus on the NetSec (Network & Security) tribe. Reporting to the NetSec tribe, an entity dedicated to Network and Network Security professions, you will be at the heart of infrastructure evolution projects, obsolescence management projects, or Datacenter Move programs.
Your main responsibilities as a Network & Security Build N3 Engineer:
Main Mission:
You will be involved in strategic and complex projects, ensuring the design, implementation, and support of high-level network and security solutions.
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical feasibility studies and propose the best implementation options.
- Prepare and quote estimates, subject to client validation.
- Configure and commission equipment to meet expressed needs.
- Produce and maintain up-to-date technical architecture documentation.
- Analyze and resolve incidents related to interventions performed.
- Provide Level 3 support for major incidents.
Qualifications
Technical Skills Expected:
- Architecture: design and study of network and security architectures.
- Security: Firewall, VPN, Reverse Proxy, Proxy, WAF expertise…
- Fortinet (FW, VPN), FortiProxy, F5 (LTM, ASM, APM), Netskope Proxy, Checkpoint (FW, VPN), Palo Alto (FW, VPN), Forcepoint (FW, VPN).
- Network: LAN, WAN, MPLS, VPN
- Network protocols, switching, routing, load balancing, Cisco routers…
- Automation & scripting to optimize and industrialize operations.
- Certificate management and PCI/LPM compliance notions.
Personal Qualities:
- High-level oral and written communication.
- Excellent client-facing skills and synthesis ability.
- Technical curiosity, rigor, and proactivity.
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage critical situations.
Conditions and Environment:
- English level: professional.
- Location: Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, with occasional travel.
Profile Sought:
- Minimum 6 years of confirmed experience in network & security engineering.
- Very good knowledge of LAN/WAN environments, firewalls, cloud, and automation.
- Successful experience in banking environments (strong asset).
- Rigor, autonomy, sense of responsibility, and excellent interpersonal skills.

How is the recruitment process at Devoteam?
It includes 2 to 3 interviews:
- Talent Acquisition Interview: the objective is to review your skills, your English level, and validate your motivations.
- Tech & Business Interview: this interview aims to deepen your technical skills and verify their alignment with our needs through an exchange with a business expert.
- Leadership Interview: it assesses your potential, your ambitions, and considers your evolution within Devoteam.
We prefer at least one in-person interview. Reference checks are requested and, depending on your profile, tests (technical, English, personality...) may be sent to you. If your application is selected, we will send you a proposal outlining the hiring conditions. Upon acceptance, the employment contract is formalized.
