Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures to ensure that software products meet organizational standards and user satisfaction.
• Create and manage test schedules and approaches that align with project timelines.
• Write detailed test cases and scripts, identifying relevant data for various test scenarios.
• Collaborate with Test Managers, Project Managers, and Development Leads during walkthroughs of test cases.
• Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring robust operation and defect-free performance.
• Document and communicate test results effectively while analyzing issues and facilitating their resolution.
• Provide progress reports on problem resolution to management and devise improvements for current testing procedures.
• Occasionally engage in IT systems engineering activities, aiding in design, installation, and support tasks.
• Independently tackle complex technical challenges and provide innovative, practical solutions to meet organizational goals.
• Participate in inter-organizational and external collaborations to address technical issues related to projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in programming, particularly in languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• A solid track record of participating in complex software projects with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing environments.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong skills in writing and executing test cases, scripts, and plans.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and proficiency in version control systems (Git, Subversion).
• Understanding of performance testing and related tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with defect tracking and management tools like JIRA.
• Basic SQL knowledge for validating stored data.
• Experience with testing web applications, APIs, and services.
• Understanding of security testing practices and methodologies.
• Proficient in various types of testing: functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and UAT.
• Exceptional analytical skills and creativity in problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Capability to work both independently and within a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Experience mentoring junior testers.
• Adept at interpreting business requirements into precise test scenarios.

Professional Experience & Education

• A minimum of 10 years in software testing and quality assurance.
• Experience with Electronic Data Interchange X.12 (EDI) and Medical Claims (837, 834, 277, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is advantageous.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Citizenship Requirement

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory for this position.

• Candidates must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI).
