Your Mission – Make a Difference Here:

• Future Research: You will evaluate and implement state-of-the-art machine learning and deep learning models to analyze complex climate data.
• Prototyping: You will develop innovative AI prototypes and test their feasibility for practical application.
• Data Engineering: You will work with large, often unstructured environmental and climate datasets and prepare them for model training.
• Collaboration: You will work closely with our data scientists, software engineers, and climate experts to transform scientific findings into real tech features.

What you bring – Your Profile:

• Ongoing studies: You are in advanced Bachelor's or Master's studies in Computer Science (Business Informatics), Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or a comparable degree program with a strong quantitative focus.
• AI Foundation: Initial practical experience or relevant university projects in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or NLP (Natural Language Processing).
• Tech Stack: Confident use of Python as well as common frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-Learn.
• Analytical Mindset: You have a strong passion for data, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to understand and implement complex scientific papers.
• Climate Passion: A genuine interest in sustainability, renewable energies, and climate tech.
• Language Skills: Fluent English (project language); German skills are a plus, but not a must.
