JOB SUMMARY

The IT Architect II is responsible for designing and implementing scalable data processing solutions while supporting workflow management initiatives. This role focuses on backend systems, data pipelines, and migration efforts, particularly transitioning legacy systems (AWD) to Salesforce, while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and robust data processing architectures
• Lead workflow management projects from planning through execution
• Build and optimize data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and analysis
• Support migration from legacy AWD systems to Salesforce
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
• Evaluate emerging technologies in data, AI, and machine learning
• Ensure compliance with data governance, regulatory, and internal policies
• Maintain documentation for architecture, workflows, and technical specifications
• Communicate project updates, performance metrics, and technical solutions to stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• 24 years of experience as Data Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role
• Experience in financial services or insurance domain
• Hands-on experience with AWD system
• Experience with Salesforce and migration to Salesforce
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Understanding of data processing platforms and big data frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with architectural design and solution frameworks
• Project management experience
• Leadership or team collaboration experience
• Experience with intelligent data processing tools
• Knowledge of data governance and regulatory compliance
• Cloud or data-related certifications

Certifications

• Cloud Architecture or Data Engineering certifications (preferred)
