About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Architect II to support a critical workflow modernization initiative focused on migrating AWD (Automated Workflow Distribution) workflows to Salesforce within a financial/insurance environment.
This role will work closely with the Hiring Manager to support the existing AWD platform while helping design and implement the future-state Salesforce workflow architecture. The position requires strong expertise in workflow systems, data processing platforms, cloud architecture, and insurance domain knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support migration of AWD-based workflows to Salesforce
- Design and optimize backend workflow processes and architecture
- Support workflow modernization and data processing initiatives
- Develop scalable and secure architecture solutions aligned to business needs
- Partner with stakeholders on workflow requirements and implementation strategy
- Support cloud-based architecture solutions, preferably in Azure
- Create architecture documentation, solution designs, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and enterprise standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience with AWD (Automated Workflow Distribution)
- Experience with Salesforce, including workflow migration or upgrade initiatives
- Experience in Insurance or Financial Services (required)
- Experience with Data Processing Platforms
- Experience with Cloud Architecture (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of workflow management and backend process design
Preferred Qualifications
- Architecture and solution design experience
- Experience creating architecture diagrams and technical documentation
- Cloud Architecture or Data Engineering certifications
- Project leadership or stakeholder management experience
