In this key role, you will take responsibility for our hybrid cloud and virtualization environment and drive its further development. With your know-how in the Azure Cloud (Infrastructure), VMware and Windows Server, you ensure that our systems remain secure, efficient and future-oriented. You will work closely with a dedicated team and have the opportunity to help shape exciting IT projects.

Responsibilities

• You operate and optimize our Azure infrastructure platform reliably, securely and scalably
• You are responsible for the operation and further development of our server virtualization
• You automate recurring tasks and design stable and secure IT processes
• Together with the team, you take over the support and administration of our Windows Servers
• You support the CISO together with other security engineers in the area of IT security
• Participation in 2nd/3rd Level Support
• Involvement in IT projects including sub-project management

Qualifications

• Training as an IT specialist or equivalent qualification
• You have several years of experience in setting up and operating Azure cloud infrastructures
• Very good knowledge in the setup and operation of classic server virtualization environments
• Sound know-how in the area of Windows Server and Powershell
• Analytical and strategic thinking combined with high initiative
• Strong sense of responsibility and security awareness
• Ideally, IT project experience (server & cloud)
• Teamwork, resilience and reliability
