Role Overview

The IT Infrastructure & Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure systems to ensure secure, scalable, and highly available services. The role supports enterprise infrastructure including servers, virtualization platforms, identity services, endpoint management, Zero Trust secure access platforms, and cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365. The Systems Engineer works closely with the IT Infrastructure Manager to implement architecture standards, improve infrastructure performance, and support security, governance, and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Design & Implementation

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including servers, virtualization platforms, and storage environments.
• Support infrastructure architecture improvements to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.

Identity & Access Management (IAM)

• Implement identity lifecycle management processes including user provisioning, role management, and access control

Privileged Access Management (PAM)

• Implement privileged access controls for administrative accounts and critical systems.
• Support monitoring and auditing of privileged access activities

Vulnerability & Infrastructure Security

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and support remediation activities across infrastructure and applications.
• Implement infrastructure hardening practices and security configurations.

Cloud & Systems Infrastructure

• Design and manage cloud infrastructure services in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.

Endpoint & Device Management

• Implement and manage endpoint management solutions including Microsoft Intune, JAMF, SCCM, or equivalent platforms.
