Role

In this role, as a Cloud and Information Security Engineer, you will actively shape secure, future-proof solutions for demanding laboratory automation environments. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and continuously developing security architectures in cloud and on-premises infrastructures. You will analyze risks, define and implement security measures, and ensure that sensitive data is protected at all times. You will also evaluate new technologies, develop best practices, and thus make a significant contribution to a robust, scalable, and compliant IT landscape. With your expertise, you will support interdisciplinary teams in securely designing and operating innovative applications from the outset.

Responsibilities

• In projects, you will take the lead in the ICT, Cybersecurity, and Cloud environment
• You will ensure the operation and further development of the cloud platform (Microsoft Azure)
• With your know-how, you will conduct security checks for applications, processes, and projects
• As a contact person, you will support specialist departments and project teams with security and cloud topics
• Additionally, you will be responsible for specialist areas and actively contribute to the ICT Security and Cloud core team

Qualifications

• A completed apprenticeship or a degree in ICT or ICT Security forms your professional foundation
• You bring several years of experience in ICT (5-10 years) as well as practical knowledge in the ICT Security field (2-4 years)
• You already have 3-5 years of experience in cloud computing, ideally with Azure as well as AWS or GCP
• Good knowledge of network technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, routing, and NAT characterize you
• A recognized security certification and flawless German language skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
