Data Engineer

Job Duties

• Gather and document requirements and develop functional specifications with focus on ETL and Business Intelligence.
• Design, develop, maintain data pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Implement and manage big data solutions to store and process large volumes of data.
• Develop, maintain data models, data warehouses, data lakes
• Implement and manage cloud-based data solutions, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to ensure that data is properly structured and accessible for analysis and reporting.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across multiple sources and systems
• Develop and maintain automated data processing and monitoring tools
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve data-related problems and challenges
• Design and develop Business Intelligence reports based on ad-hoc and functional requirements.
• Provide post implementation support and resolve critical and high priority tickets as per the SLAs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, Engg, IT, or related with at least 60 months of experience.

Salary

Salary ranges between $175,427.00 to $178,000.00/year.
