The Jr. Recruiter is part of our growing Talent Acquisition Team. They help us set up for our next phase of growth, in Canada and the USA! As a Jr. Recruiter, you will play a vital role in supporting our three core pillars: maximizing client investment, promoting staff enrichment, and expanding our Company mission. By aligning hiring strategies with these values, you’ll contribute to the Company’s impact and success.
You are supported by a team of Recruitment experts and tools to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best staff, while growing a strong talent pipeline. You are building high‑performance teams by connecting talented individuals with business leaders for opportunities within the organization. This role has incredible strategic relevance in the sustained growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote a seamless hiring experience, reducing time‑to‑fill positions and ensuring minimal disruption to client‑facing operations.
- Create positive candidate experiences through professional and engaging recruitment practices.
- Partner with hiring managers to match the right talent with opportunities that foster growth and career advancement.
- Use data‑driven hiring strategies to optimize recruitment costs and minimize turnover.
- Leverage recruiting technology to efficiently track and manage open positions.
- Post job ads on professional sites, job sites and social media.
- Source, screen, interview candidates, and manage interview schedules efficiently.
- Manage calendar for all hiring teams and candidates.
- Send out all bulk emails (e.g., confirming receipt of applications, rejection applicant status emails).
Requirements
Experience
- 1–2 years of demonstrated experience recruiting, agency or in‑house.
- Friendly, motivated and perseverant self‑starter with the ability to engage with a wide range of personalities on the phone and in person.
- Bold, willing to take risks and think outside the box to problem‑solve in a timely manner.
- Goal‑oriented to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets and activities.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills with an innate ability to be charismatic, socially intelligent, and persuasive.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with online and virtual interview tools (e.g., Calendly, Zoom, Google Hangouts, Teams, etc.).
- Experience utilizing Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter and/or other applicant tracking system (ATS) is required.
- Digital literacy skills; ability to juggle several online platforms.
