Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Meredale, South Africa. As a Junior Cloud Engineer, Azure Support Engineer, Cloud Operations Analyst, or SOC Analyst L1, you will be responsible for managing cloud environments, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting infrastructure operations. Your daily tasks will include monitoring systems, implementing cloud-based solutions, providing technical support, and maintaining database operations. You will also collaborate with a team to ensure the stability and security of networks and applications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or experience in Software Development, including programming concepts and basic coding practices
• Familiarity with Infrastructure and Cloud Computing, with an understanding of cloud services and virtualization
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems and command-line tools
• Basic understanding of Databases and data management concepts
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage tasks efficiently
• Passion for technology and eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant certifications in cloud technology (e.g., Azure Fundamentals) or Linux are an advantage
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
