Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated • *Junior Data Engineer**

to join our Data & Analytics department. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.

Working closely with Data Scientists and Business Analysts, you will ensure that our data "pipelines" are scalable, reliable, and provide high-quality data for critical business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities • **Pipeline Construction:**

Build and automate robust ETL/ELT workflows to ingest data from diverse sources (SaaS APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, and streaming data). • **Data Modeling:**

Assist in designing and implementing data warehouse schemas (Star, Snowflake, or Data Vault) to optimize query performance. • **Data Quality & Governance:**

Implement automated testing and monitoring to ensure data integrity and compliance with • *GDPR**

standards. • **Cloud Infrastructure:**

Support the management of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments ( • *Docker/Kubernetes**

). • **Tooling & Automation:**

Utilize orchestration tools like • *Airflow**

or • *Dagster**

to manage complex task dependencies. • **Collaboration:**

Partner with Data Analysts to understand their data requirements and provide them with clean, "ready-to-use" datasets. Candidate Profile (Requirements) • **Education:**

Master’s Degree ( • *Bac+5**

) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a "Grande École" Engineering degree. • **Technical Skills:** • **Programming:**

Proficiency in • *Python**

(preferred) or Scala/Java. • **SQL:**

Advanced SQL skills (window functions, CTEs, and query tuning). • **Modern Data Stack:**

Familiarity with tools like • *dbt, Spark, Snowflake, or BigQuery**
