Junior Data Scientist - AI Research

About the Role

Our client is looking for an ambitious and eager Junior Data Scientist to join their AI Research team. This is a fully remote, internship position perfect for individuals passionate about artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analysis. Responsibilities

• Assist senior researchers and engineers in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Foundational knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with data analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and ML libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Basic understanding of data manipulation and database querying (SQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Enthusiasm for artificial intelligence and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote setting.
• Demonstrated interest in AI research through academic projects, personal projects, or relevant coursework.
• The ability to learn quickly, ask insightful questions, and collaborate effectively within a remote team environment is crucial.
