Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join their innovative team through a fully remote internship program. This internship is designed for individuals passionate about Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, providing hands-on experience in developing and deploying cutting-edge models. Responsibilities: Assist in the collection, cleaning, and preprocessing of large datasets for AI/ML model training. Support the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms under the guidance of senior team members. Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Help in the evaluation and validation of model performance using appropriate metrics. Participate in A/B testing and experiment design to assess the impact of new features or models. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver insights. Create visualizations and reports to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, ML, and data science research. Contribute to the documentation of data pipelines, models, and methodologies. Gain practical experience with various data science tools and programming languages. Learn and apply best practices in MLOps and data engineering. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Strong foundation in statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch). Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau). Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Previous project experience (academic or personal) demonstrating practical application of data science concepts is a plus. This is a fully remote internship, requiring a reliable internet connection and the ability to work effectively independently.
