Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and implementing machine learning models using frameworks such as TensorFlow and Spark to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct data mining and exploratory data analysis with SQL, Python, R, and SAS to identify patterns and trends within large datasets.
• Support the development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure high-quality data ingestion from various sources including Hadoop, Talend, and linked data repositories.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop database schemas and optimize database design for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Participate in model training, evaluation, and deployment processes to ensure scalable AI solutions using AWS cloud services.
• Apply natural language processing techniques to analyze unstructured text data for insights and automation opportunities.
• Contribute to the creation of dashboards and reports using Looker or other analytics tools to communicate findings clearly across teams.
• Assist in integrating machine learning models into production environments through model deployment best practices.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or similar platforms.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages including Python, Java, C, or VBA for data analysis and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hadoop ecosystem tools such as Talend for data processing.
• Understanding of SQL databases along with experience in database design and optimization.
• Exposure to cloud computing platforms like AWS for model deployment and scalable analytics solutions.
• Basic knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), unsupervised learning techniques, and AI concepts.
