Your Missions

As a Junior Data Scientist in the Risk Consulting team in Zurich, you will actively participate from the beginning in demanding client projects – especially in the field of Data Science and AI. Your activities include:

• Direct integration into a concrete, ongoing AI and Data Science project with measurable added value for our clients
• Development and improvement of Data Science and Machine Learning solutions with Python (e.g., via pandas, scikit-learn, as well as modern LLM frameworks)
• Close collaboration with our Lead Data Scientist to specifically develop our service offering in Risk Consulting
• Participation in topics such as NLP, document processing, rule-based systems, and – depending on the project – MLOps-related issues
• Active collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders, as well as professional communication at the project level
• Participation in initiatives for the development of our services and innovative use cases in Switzerland

Your Profile

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic individual eager for professional growth and taking on responsibility. For this position, you ideally possess the following qualifications:

• Degree obtained (e.g., in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field)
• Initial professional experience (up to approximately 2 years) in implementing Data Science or ML projects
• Very good knowledge of Python and interest in modern AI technologies
• Experience with MLOps platforms (e.g., MLflow, Domino Data Lab, or similar) is a plus
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills, as well as a confident demeanor when interacting with clients
• Strong willingness to learn and motivation to develop your career in an innovative and fast-growing environment
• Fluent German and English, French is an asset
