Junior Data Scientist - Machine Learning Focus

Collaborate with senior data scientists to evaluate model performance and iterate on improvements. Assist in the visualization of data and model results to communicate findings effectively. Contribute to the documentation of data science processes, methodologies, and model specifications. Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives. Learn and apply new machine learning algorithms and techniques as required. Support the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments. Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in data science and machine learning. Assist in the development of data pipelines and feature engineering processes. Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analysis process. Qualifications: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field. Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Foundational understanding of statistical concepts and machine learning algorithms. Familiarity with data manipulation and analysis techniques. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good communication and collaboration skills, suitable for a remote team environment. Eagerness to learn and a proactive attitude towards challenges. Basic understanding of SQL and database concepts is a plus. Prior experience with version control systems like Git is beneficial.
