Role Description

We are looking to fill TWO POSITIONS for Junior Designers, on the Assistant or Associate levels, for Bedding & Bath to join our team on-site in Hazlet, NJ. The Junior Designer will assist in designing innovative and trend-forward bedding and bath products, create compelling visual presentations, perform material and trend research, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The role involves a mix of creative and technical work, including producing sketches, mood boards, and overseeing product samples. The designer will also participate in brainstorming sessions, manage project timelines, and ensure adherence to quality and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
• Strong knowledge of material and color trends, and the ability to translate them into product designs
• Technical skills in creating tech packs, product renderings, and understanding of production processes
• Excellent attention to detail, time-management, and organizational abilities
• Effective communication skills and team collaboration experience
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining brand standards and quality
• Degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field
• Previous experience or internship in home decor or textile design is a plus

Requirements

• Degree in Design/Textile Design or relevant field.
• 5+ years of home design experience, or related apparel and merchandising area.
• Able to commute to Matawan, NJ, offices 4 days a week
