About the role
Overview
As a Junior MLOps & Data Systems Engineer, you will work in an interdisciplinary team on reliable real-time analyses for connected sensor data in technical project environments. You will receive structured onboarding, mentoring, and space for personal development. Technologically, you will work with programming languages such as Python, C++ or Rust, as well as container and MLOps technologies like Docker, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. Your work will support the stable operation and further development of productive analysis pipelines. You will work agilely and learn how scalable systems are operated in productive environments.
Your Tasks
- Transfer ML prototypes into reproducible applications for edge and backend environments
- Develop and maintain data processing and ML pipelines using typical programming languages and MLOps tools
- Implement automated tests and CI/CD steps to ensure quality and reproducibility
- Support model monitoring and drift detection in productive systems
- Create clear project documentation and status reports for internal teams
- Coordinate with internal interfaces from technology, product, and quality, and contribute to continuous process improvement
Your Profile
- You have initial practical experience in Python development and write readable, maintainable code
- You have knowledge in at least one statically typed language like C++ or Rust, or a strong interest in deepening it
- You are familiar with basic MLOps concepts such as CI/CD, container usage, and simple monitoring approaches
- You work in a structured manner, document results, and have a solution-oriented attitude
- You enjoy communicating in interdisciplinary teams and quickly learn new technical contexts
- You are open to tasks in the area of edge deployments and real-time data processing
