Kafka Data Engineer

About

You will manage Kafka infrastructure to support real-time trading application processing.

Responsibilities

• Configure and set up Kafka plants for trading application support.
• Build application-specific monitoring and observability tools to predict and prevent outages.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Provide support coverage during early Asia hours as required.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Practiced knowledge of Kafka.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Unix and K-Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with the lifecycle of a trade and data flows in investment banking operations.
• Experience working within an Agile development process.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of database concepts.
