The Key Account Manager Zürich und Ost Schweiz plays a pivotal role in building and managing relationships with key stakeholders related to Alfasigma’s product portfolio. The mission is to drive engagement, access to products, deliver value, and ensure success of innovative solutions improving patient outcomes.

This position reports to the Head of Sales and Access Switzerland.

Scope of the Role

  • Maximize utilization and patient outcomes of Alfasigma's offerings in designated territories/accounts.
  • Drive account stakeholder relationships and develop long-term relationships.
  • Achieve business objectives within allocated budget.
  • Lead and develop local strategic customer relationships within compliance and legal requirements.
  • Implement HCP Educational Events to improve disease awareness and patient access.
  • Support Alfasigma’s reputation as a key partner in the specialty space.

Accountabilities

  • Understand account situations, challenges, and needs.
  • Formulate comprehensive, insight-driven key account plans.
  • Deliver on objectives and tactics to drive performance.
  • Ensure transparency of account plans and KPIs in CRM.
  • Manage execution according to timelines and budget.
  • Communicate customer insights and trends internally.
  • Operate in compliance with legal and marketing strategies.
  • Act as an ambassador of Alfasigma’s vision and values.
  • Develop long-term relationships with strategic accounts and stakeholders.
  • Identify key external stakeholders and understand their needs.
  • Collaborate on initiatives adding value to stakeholders and patients.
  • Support healthcare professionals on correct product use.
  • Prioritize and manage accounts by assessing business opportunities.
  • Participate in relevant events and congresses.
  • Role model Alfasigma’s beliefs and foster a patient and customer-centered culture.

Experience and Education

  • Account management experience in Gastroenterology is an advantage.

  • Knowledge and experience in specialty care.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in German and English; French or Italian is an asset.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Resilience in challenging situations.
  • Knowledge of Swiss healthcare system is an advantage.
