Your Opportunity

Are you an expert in AI and Machine Learning and want to apply your knowledge in an innovative company and contribute to the energy transition? Then you are exactly right with us!

Responsibilities

• Further development of our product through AI integration based on modern LLM architectures (multi-model strategy with different large language models)
• Conception, implementation, and optimization of RAG architectures (Retrieval Augmented Generation) using our own vector database for connecting domain-specific knowledge bases to LLMs
• Design and development of an AI agent that actively supports end-users in operating the software (agentic workflows, tool-calling, memory handling, guardrails)
• Conception of an integration agent that can automatically connect and configure interfaces to customer systems (e.g., REST, Webhooks, Events)
• Technical and strategic evaluation (buy vs. build) in the area of Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), including market analysis, PoCs, and architectural decisions
• Building robust prompt and system architectures, including evaluation, testing, monitoring, and performance optimization
• Implementation of evaluation frameworks for LLM outputs (quality, hallucination rate, relevance, cost/benefit)
• Integration into existing backend and frontend systems, including API design, security, and scalability
• Close and intensive collaboration with the CTO, CEO, Product Management, UX/UI, and Backend Team to define AI features with clear business added value

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science or a comparable qualification that can impress us
• At least 3 years of practical experience in implementing productive AI projects
• Demonstrable experience with:
  • Large Language Models (Prompt Engineering, Fine-Tuning, RAG)
  • Embeddings and vector databases
  • API integration and backend development
  • Evaluation and monitoring of AI systems
• Very good overview of the current LLM landscape (models, frameworks, agent approaches, open-source ecosystems)
• Proficient in common tech stacks (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, REST, containerization, cloud environments)
• Experience in architectural decisions (scaling, cost optimization, security, data protection)
• Structured, analytical approach and the ability to translate technical concepts into product added value
