Kubernetes Engineer - Edge Infrastructure & Data Streaming (m/w/d)

Do you have experience with modern cloud environments, feel at home in Kubernetes, and want to actively build something new instead of just operating existing systems?

Then this might be a great fit. You'll meet small DevSecOps teams at our clients that operate like a start-up but work in an environment where quality and reliability truly matter. They are currently expanding their platform landscape and are looking for someone who wants to help shape an edge infrastructure from the ground up.

Your Responsibilities:

• Building and further developing an edge infrastructure platform
• Operating and continuously improving existing cloud and streaming solutions
• Developing data streaming applications for global data processing
• Supporting other internal teams in using and integrating the platforms
• Close collaboration in a DevSecOps setup, from development to operations

Your Profile:

• Several years of experience in cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering
• Proficient with Kubernetes, ideally also in edge or distributed environments
• Experience with IoT or edge scenarios
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical technology, industry, or pharmaceuticals is a plus
• Structured way of working and an interest in building things cleanly

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Kafka or comparable streaming technologies
• Practical experience with Azure environments
• Infrastructure as Code is standard for you, not an extra
• Experience with agile working methods like Scrum or Kanban
