Kubernetes Platform Specialist – Hedge Fund Opportunity

Actus Search are currently supporting a global hedge fund in hiring a Kubernetes Platform Specialist to join a high-impact engineering team powering research and trading workflows.

This is a hands-on platform engineering role where Kubernetes sits at the core of how cutting-edge quantitative research moves into production.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and scaling Kubernetes-native orchestration used by hundreds of internal teams
• Owning cluster capacity and workflow orchestration supporting research delivery and trading deployments
• Building and enhancing platform capabilities across:
  • Kubernetes ecosystem
  • Service mesh (Istio)
  • Serverless (Knative)
  • GitOps (ArgoCD)
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Observability stack
• Delivering impactful projects (e.g. GPU scheduling, networking enhancements, platform hardening)
